WHAT WE DO — 01
Roadside assistance
Something went wrong away from home. Tell us where you are and what happened, and we dispatch an affiliated technician to your location. You get the price before anyone is sent, and you approve it before any work starts.
Your battery is dead and the engine won't turn over. A technician comes to you with a portable jump pack, gets the vehicle running, and confirms it's safe to drive. If the battery is too far gone to hold a charge, we tell you that before you pay for anything else.
Your keys are locked inside the vehicle. A technician opens the door using non-destructive entry tools. We don't cut, copy, or program keys at the roadside, and we may ask you to show proof that the vehicle is yours.
We swap the flat for the spare that's already in your vehicle and check the pressure before you drive off. We don't carry replacement tires. If your spare is missing or unusable, you'll need a tow instead and we'll tell you that before we dispatch.
We bring up to 2 gallons of gasoline or diesel to your location — enough to get you to the nearest station. The cost of the fuel is included in the price shown.
We move your vehicle to the shop or destination you choose. The price covers hookup plus the first 5 miles. Additional miles are $4.00 USD per mile, and we quote the full amount to you before the truck is dispatched.
Prices shown are starting points for the Norfolk service area. The final amount depends on distance, vehicle, and time of day, and you see it in writing before a technician is dispatched.

Shop appointments
Planned work, booked ahead, at an affiliated garage in Norfolk. You tell us what the vehicle needs and when you're available, we confirm the slot with the shop, and you get a text with the date, time, and address.

Shop work is quoted after the vehicle is inspected. You approve the estimate in writing before any repair begins, and you're only charged for what you approved. Parts are billed separately from labor and itemized on your receipt.

Tell us what you need
Email us. We ask where you are, what you're driving, and what's happening. For roadside requests we confirm we can reach you before quoting anything.

We dispatch a local technician
We send the job to an affiliated shop in the Norfolk area and confirm who's coming and when. You get a text with the technician's name and a link to follow the status of your request.

You approve, then you pay
We text you a secure payment link with the final price. Payment is processed by Stripe. GetRoadHand never sees or stores your full card number.
PRICING
Pricing and payment
All prices on this site are listed in United States Dollars (USD). Prices for roadside services include the technician's labor and travel within our service area.
You see the price before you approve the job, and we don't start work until you do. If a technician arrives and the job turns out to be different from what you described, we stop and re-quote — we never add charges you haven't seen.
Payment is collected online through a secure link we text you. Payments are processed by Stripe over an encrypted connection. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.
POLICIES
Cancellations and refunds
You can cancel a roadside request at no charge any time before a technician is dispatched. Once a technician is on the way to you, a dispatch fee of $45 USD may apply.
Shop appointments can be rescheduled or cancelled at no charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled time.
If a job can't be completed, you're refunded in full to your original payment method. Refunds are issued within one business day of the request and typically appear on your statement within five to ten business days, depending on your bank.

Where we operate
We serve Norfolk, Nebraska and surrounding communities within approximately 25 miles. If you're outside that range, email anyway — we'll tell you honestly whether we can reach you, and if we can't, we'll point you to someone who can.
Service is available in the United States only. We don't operate outside Nebraska.
